-The TVD Club met today and fun was had by all.  I very much enjoy getting together with goldy_dollar and skylar_d3.  We really get along famously and end up discussing many different topics.  Time flies when we are together.  It seems a blink of an eye when in actually fact it's 2 1/2 hours :D.  There will be a more in-depth ( Read more... )

Today was another enjoyable day off.  I went to visit my Dad.  We went for a bike ride in the beautiful, sunny, hot weather, and had lunch at Dairy Queen.  We also stopped by the house he will be renting starting April 1st.  It felt good just to spend time with him and to be out on a bike for the first time this year.

[*]  I've started back into my routine of going for a good length walk every day.  Sunday I walked for a total of 2 hours, yesterday for half an hour, today an hour. :)  I'm also concentrating harder on not dragging my left foot (as I've manage to wear a hole in my favourite pair of Merrell shoes in under 6 months ( Read more... )

Mostly because I had a riding lesson, but also because I got to spend time with goldy_dollar.

I'm so glad that I made the decision to indulge myself and have quality horse time.  I do have something of an internal struggle over the whole idea of riding, but in the end it has such a positive impact on my mental health, that I believe it is worth the risk.  My ( Read more... )
